OS and Aloha Enterprise Suite Compatibility Windows 7, Server 2008, Embedded OS Radiant Systems is pleased to announce support for 32 Bit Windows 7 Professional (W7) and Windows Server 2008 (SVR08) throughout the Aloha Enterprise Suite of Products. Additionally, some products will also support 64 Bit OS as noted in the chart below. Due to Extended Support from Microsoft for several OS products expiring over the next few years, Radiant Systems is moving to replace XP Professional, XP Embedded, and Server 2003 offerings to maintain long product life cycles. Windows 7 and Server 2008 will be the OS of choice for BOH machines and Windows Embedded Standard (WES) and Windows Embedded POSReady 2009 (WEPR) will replace XP Pro and XPe on FOH terminals. Date column indicates date for a given Platform with the new OS offerings. For hardware replacement of current models; products will be supported ‘like for like’ with the original OS.
