Abacus to Resell NCR Point-of-Sale Workstations

Clearwater, FL (May 27, 2003) NCR Corporation and Abacus Business Solutions today announced that Abacus, a successful reseller of Aloha Technologies’ point-of-sale (POS) system, will resell NCR RealPOS™ workstations in Florida’s fast-growing hospitality and entertainment markets.
     Abacus is a total solutions provider, integrating the Aloha software system on a variety of hardware platforms and offering multiple levels of post-sale technical support.  The addition of the NCR product line to the Abacus portfolio allows both companies to leverage the combined strengths of the NCR offering and the Abacus-installed customer base in the expanding Florida economy.
     As an NCR reseller, Abacus participates in the NCR RealPartner program, a tiered marketing initiative that provides NCR channel and alliance partners the sales, marketing and support tools they need to be successful with NCR products.
