The Report Module
Although Aloha provides for the easy addition of straight
Crystal Reports, the Report Module provides programs that
produce reports not offered in Aloha that require additional
number crunching or other figure handling methods that cannot
be performed by a simple Crystal Report. The current Report
programs that are included in the module are described below.
Average Table Turn
The result of this report is just as it sounds. The report
breaks out the table turn averages, not only per employee, but
also per period for each of the tables set up in the Aloha
system.
Category
This report simply breaks out the items listed under each
category in Aloha. However, since printing out all of this
information can produce a rather lengthy outcome, the Category
Report allows the user to choose distinct categories to view.
This information becomes useful for those customers needing to
straighten out or just get a handle on how their categories
are configured.
Guest Check Average
In this case, the report not only shows the average guest
check sale per employee, but also the average for the entire
restaurant. Employees can rate themselves against the average
and adjust their techniques accordingly. Management can also
use this data for performance evaluations.
Hourly Labor
Tracking
The hourly Labor Tracking Report contains a great deal of
information, including sales, number of employees, guest
count, total employee hours, labor dollars and the percentage
of labor dollars per the sales for each hour. For comparison
purposes, the information for the same day on the previous
week is provided on the left hand side of the report. There
is also a line between each hour to display the differences
from hour to hour.
Labor Percentage
The Labor Percentage Report shows the break out of Labor
Percentage, based on job code and store sales.
Minute Item Count
Many facilities have the need to track the amount of an item
sold throughout the day, based upon a certain time increment.
With the Minute Item Count Report, this goal can be
accomplished. Simply choose the item based on its item number
and fill in the time increment in minutes.
Performance Measure
A useful tool for comparing servers’ sales in a selected
performance measure and job code, the Performance Measure
report also shows the item count sold for each employee. As
in the Guest Check Average Report, the Performance Measure
Report calculates the restaurant average for comparison
purposes against the individual employees.
