TIM iOS Interface
With TIM Index Systems turns the iPod touch or iPad
into a high-tech hospitality handheld. The  application
contains all functionalities to convert your handheld
into a completely mobile POS. So not only ordering,
but also changing, making reservations, splitting bills
and showing recipes. All to be summoned and entered
using just one single hand, practical and intuitive.
Your employees are informed with a glimpse of the screen,
their attention remains with the guests.
Requirements
The TIM Installation process consists of two parts:
in stallation of the Backoffice suite on your server
and installation of the TIM client on your iPod(s) and\or
iPhone(s). Please ensure the following requirements
are met before you start your installation.
BackOffice
The Backoffice server is needed for installation of
the Backoffice suite. This server should be part of
your exisiting Aloha POS network and run your Aloha
Interface Server. The hardware and software run on this
server should meet the minimum requirements as in the
following table

Aloha
Your
Aloha license should have Aloha Connect enabled for
TIM to be able to interface with Aloha. You will also
need an amount of Interface Terminals licensed which
equals the amount of concurrent users in your TIM license.
As a last requirement you will need to be on Aloha version
6.5 as a minimum.
Wireless
Network
Your
TIM clients will need to communicate with your TIM server
through WI Fl. Read the Wireless Best Practices later
on in this manual carefully to ensure a stable, fast
and secure network for your business.
iOS
Device
Ensure
your Apple iPod(s) and\or iPhone(s) are running the
latest version of iOS and are able to connect to the
wireless network set-up for communication with Aloha.
You will also need at least 1 Apple.com account to be
able to download the TIM Client.
